She just hasn’t sold her soul like Beyonce and Rihanna to the pop (As in not urban Pop) audience.
I still will not be buying Fantasy Ride though. I will admit i was one of those haters, that didn’t give this girl a chance because Beyonce fans ate my mind into thinking she’s not talented. But the haters are always the same people, which goes to show me how much hate people have on Ciara. Most people on this site areīeyonce fans (I am one too, that’s my girl). P.S i really need to find Ci & kidnap her & tell her ass what she is doing wrong. at least last era with the evolution, her old manger had her pre-tour set and planned wks before the album’s release, Ciara just let go all the wrong people on her team.
and Yes! a pre-tour is suppose to happen but damn they havent even released no dates or places for that. but i guess Ci feels she’s accomplished everything she wanted in life. Yes! i like all the leaks but i need to hear a hit across all the charts. & there still in the studio, so its obvious, they havent found the hit record she needs, or else that would of been the first single. & as a stan, i dont like the fact The Dream and Tricky are executive producing her album again for the 2ND time, if them producing it aint wrk the first time, then what made them think its gonna happen this time. Ciara needs someone on her team, that should be telling her, ” No B****, this is a mess & will cause u to flop AGAIN! ” in thats something Beyonce & Rihanna has in they also have say into there work in by now Ciara should have lots of say into her work. should be the ones tellin her that she isnt. She’s not on her A game & us as fans, stans, supporters etc. I’m no actual CiCi fan but I just had to do like the Dream and be honest! So everyting’s been on point, don’t know why she isn’t toting the charts like people with this awful material are climbing up it like a step ladder. And lastly those Ciara stnas are CRAZY! LOL. And Ride should be blowing up, the video is awesome. Work should of blew up that video was even more incredible and the song was sure fire anthem in the clubs. I feel that from the start, Go Girl should of BLEW UP! The video was fantastic, and the song could of been a trademark for her. She hasn’t been out as long as other people who may have flopped (Janet and MiMi had hits after hits once upon a time, hopefully they can again) and with Evolution doing good (but not awesome and the material was kind of lacking except for the singles, thats how I see it) and Fantasy Ride not even taking off, this is her last shot. And he is right, you got to be honest here. I think The Dream is super talented, I’m a huge fan of his wife too. rude boy, come on now, how “urban” is that?Ĭiara’s “ride” has broken top ten on URBAN radio this week, she’ll bust her way into the top of the charts once the tired songs from usher/alicia keys wear off. Beyonce has become a pop artist, just like Rhianna. If Beyonce only stuck to making songs sounding like “ring the alarm” or “diva” she would NOT be where she is today. Ciara is an URBAN artist unlike sellouts like Beyonce and Rhianna who have to turn to pop to make themselves bigger. It is sad that artists as talented as Ciara goes so unnoticed, outside the urban world. But since her passing, Ciara has come in to fill her void. I enjoyed her last album, but the sales were dismal.īut, if you can enjoy listening to the garbage that gets played these days a la “Keisha”, than I guess the innovative tunes that are coming out the hot s*** fine ass of Ciara is not worth your time.Īaliyah was the original “street but sweet” style infused sexiness.
